Cello using looping and processing interspersed with drone passages created from manipulated recordings of cathedral bells. On one level the experience is sonically reminiscent of Arvo Pärt in places and Brian Eno in others. The music for cello is constructed from unsynchronised loops which through accident, chance and coincidence create an evolving bed of atmospheric sound which a solo line interacts with and in this way is inspired by the music structures of Cage, Reich and Riley.
